Welcome to Draconem Caeli!
Whether you're new to closed species, roleplaying, or character creation, this guide will help you get started.
If you get stuck, ask in #help-desk on Discord. We're always happy to help.

 

Step 1: Get a Caeli
​There are several ways to get your first Caeli:

    Buy an official design during a sale or auction.
    Commission a custom design from ImperfectEnthusiast.
    Trade or purchase a Caeli from another player.
    Earn Caeli Coins and redeem them for a MYO (Make Your Own) or Custom through in-game on Discord.

Step 1.5: Design your Caeli (MYOs Only)
If you purchased a MYO slot:

    ​Design your Caeli using the official Species Guide and MYO Guide.
    Submit your design in #design-check on Discord.
    Wait for approval before using your character.

If you bought an existing design or commissioned a custom, you can skip this step!

 
Step 2: Create Your Character
Now it's time to bring your Caeli to life!

    Complete a Prompt Sheet for your character.
    Give them a name, age, nest, personality, and backstory.
    Add any relationships, goals, or other details you'd like.
    Upload your completed Prompt Sheet (to whatever platform you prefer) and collect your Caeli Coins!


​​How Do I Complete a Prompt Sheet?

    Your Prompt Sheet is your character's profile. It tells other members who they are, where they live, and how they fit into the world.
    Look at the examples below and complete the Prompt Sheet Template provided below. You don't need to follow the exact format but it is easier for newbies.
    You must have a correctly completed Prompt Sheet to earn Caeli Coins when submitting prompts or participating in activities.

    PROMPT SHEET FORMAT:
    ​Name: [Full name]
    Gender: [ANY identified gender or sex]
    Age: [Preferrably age as a number, but you can also say "young adult"]
    Nest: [Make sure the nest you choose matches the Prompt Sheet image]
    Profession: [If they have been approved for a rank e.g. civilian]
    [Any completed rank submissions MUST BE LISTED ON THE PROMPT SHEET]
    Personality & Biography
    - Bullet point short sentences accepted.
    - Overall, the written prompt must describe the Caeli's character.
    - This can be cut into two separate sections if you like.
    Relationships
    - This section can be separated into friends, family, etc.
    - If you list a relationship, please provide at least a short sentence describing their dynamic.
    - If you do not have any relationships, you MUST write what relationships this character is open to and what you're looking for.

    Optional Fields:
    It is completely optional and helpful for you to add:
    - Traits
    - Roleplay notes or behaviours
    - Trivia or fun facts
    - Music themes
    - Invitations to use your character for art or roleplays and your boundaries

Step 3: Play in the Community
Now you are all set to:

    Join in on the ARPG and keep earning Caeli Coins to spend.

    Submit your Caeli for a rank - give them a role in their world!

    Draw your Caeli and share their adventures to gain new traits, collectibles, and more!
    Post a bulletin - find some friends!

    Write stories, roleplay with friends, and develop their personality. You can even have a baby!

    Join events and community activities.

    Collaborate with other members to expand the world of Dravisdor.
