Caeli with albinism often suffer from severely impaired eyesight and a myriad of associated health complications. As with Scale Plating, perceptions of albinism vary greatly between Nests. In some, particularly where pale coloration carries cultural or historical significance, it is considered striking or even beautiful. In others, it is viewed as an undesirable mutation and may be associated with superstition, weakness, or ill fortune.
